Andrea Aristeidou looks back at her 10 years working at Sanctum Spa & Fitness, at Limassol Marina

How do you feel about working at Limassol Marina?

I have been with Sanctum Spa for almost 10 years, and there has not ever been a day when I haven’t felt like going to work. I feel blessed to be working in a place where my view includes two things: the sea and the sky. And considering that we spend eight hours at work – more than half our day – having such a beautiful view to look really does play a major role in how good we feel mentally.

What images do you see on a normal day at Limassol Marina?

The images I see every day are simple, yet never boring. The blue of the sea and sky in combination with peoples’ happy faces, whether they are just here for a stroll or docking their yacht, are some of the little things that put a smile on my face every day when I come to work. People from all over the world visit Limassol Marina, and it’s so enlightening to be around so much diversity.

What were your feelings or impressions when you first came to Limassol Marina?

I will never forget the first time I visited the Marina. It was the day of my interview, and though I was feeling stressed, once I arrived and I saw this view I instantly felt calm and at ease. My first thought was ‘I would LOVE to work here with such an amazing view instead of staring at four walls!’

What makes Limassol Marina so special?

The fact that it promotes multiculturalism and diversity, and the sheer amount of places to choose from for lunch, dinner, drinks, and even shopping. And of course, my favourite element, the view, which attracts so many people to this place, even for something as simple as enjoying an ice cream by the water.

Describe Limassol Marina in one word:

I would like to use three words if I may: my happy place.
