Our Technical & Property Manager, Andreas Moyseos, shares 7 years of experiences at Limassol Marina
What is one memorable moment that stands out to you from your time at Limassol Marina?
My most memorable moment happens to be a recent one – the completion of the Castle Residences. It was a significant milestone for us, not only because the Castle Residences are the jewel of the Marina, but their completion also marked the completion of the entire Limassol Marina project.
What have you learned from working at Limassol Marina that you didn’t know before?
Beyond the expansion of my technical skills, working at Limassol Marina over the years has provided me with the ability to work within a dynamic and constantly evolving environment. There are always new challenges to be met, and we have learned how to adapt to every new situation, find solutions quickly, and keep our customers happy. It’s both exciting and challenging at the same time, and a great learning experience. And the satisfaction of our customers at the end of the day makes it all worth it.
How do you feel about Limassol Marina reaching this 10-year milestone?
Nothing less than pride and enthusiasm. At the same time, this milestone is a living testament of our team’s hard work and sheer determination to achieve this target. Our work is not yet done, however, for Limassol Marina is a living, growing project, with new challenges arising every day and new plans in the pipeline that we are all working towards.
What are you most proud of as you look back at the last ten years?
Looking back at the last ten years makes me feel exceptionally proud, not just of the Marina itself but also of our team. The way we have risen to every challenge, adapted to new conditions and new technologies, and continued to improve the standard of our services year after year, so that our customers can also experience the evolution of Limassol Marina along with us.
What does Limassol Marina mean to you personally?
Limassol Marina is my second home. I have been here for seven years, and I feel a special connection with both my job and the Marina itself, for it has made me who I am today. It may be exhausting at times, but the deep satisfaction we feel when we see our customers’ happy faces every day makes it all worthwhile.
What do you enjoy most about working here?
The collaboration and teamwork that we experience every day, because this is not a one-person job. And this teamwork is behind the satisfaction of our customers and visitors, their great experience at Limassol Marina, and the high standard of our offering.
What emotions do you feel when you see the changes and growth over the years at Limassol Marina?
Pride, gratitude and excitement for the future because the best is yet to come!
Describe Limassol Marina in one word.
Unique – in every aspect. Our architecture, our services, even the surrounding area. Everything about Limassol Marina is unique.
What do you think people feel when they visit Limassol Marina?
Admiration at the beauty that surrounds them. Limassol Marina is the jewel of the town, but there is a warmth and a familiarity within that I believe makes everyone feel welcome here. Making customers and visitors feel at home at Limassol Marina is our goal in all that we do.
Do you have a story you want to share with us from Limassol Marina’s 10-year history?
I’ll share a rather recent story, one from Christmas of last year, when we had just four days to decorate the entire Limassol Marina for the holidays. There had been a regatta just prior, with different décor, so as soon as that wrapped up, we had to all work together to put up the Christmas decorations. It was such a great thing to see all departments come together to get it all done in time, and the team spirit made it even more special. Visitors – particularly the children – were so delighted during our Christmas events, and it made all our hard work worth it.
What do you find most special about Limassol Marina?
The location, the architecture, the friendly atmosphere, the events, the warmth. Pretty much everything that makes people feel at home and eliminates the stereotype that the Marina is just for the rich. It is for everyone, and this is reflected in all that we do.
